Exercise 2: Aperture
Exercise 2a.1: Effect of Aperture on Exposure
Exercise 2a.2: Depth of Field Controlled by Aperture

Lecture

Aperture is basically the amount of light that goes through the lens, hitting the sensors.
Which controls exposure and depth of field.

Instructions

Exercise 2a: Aperture
Upon reading, viewing and discussing the material on aperture, we have come to agree that aperture effects exposure (Exercise 2a.1) and controls depth of field (Exercise 2a.2).

Exercise 2a.1: Aperture effect on exposure
Your problem task for the week is to prove the theory as fact that aperture does effect exposure by devising a plan and acting on it.

Exercise 2a.2: Aperture controls Depth of Field
Your problem task for the week is to prove the theory as fact that aperture does effect and control depth of field by devising a plan and acting on it.

Further Instructions:
When updating your ePortfolio ensure you describe your plan before showcasing the evidence that proves the theory. Number your images and include the ISO/F/Shutter Speed settings under every image.
All images must be in black and white. Choose appropriate subject matters for your images.

Feedback

Reflection

Experience -  It's getting a little harder trying to produce these results but it was fun and worth it!

Observation - A lot of buttons and ways to change the settings, at first it was hard but overtime you tend to get used to it.

Findings - Aperture does controls exposure and depth of field!

FeedbackThe aperture exercise where you were trying to prove depth of field, while the subject matter and the angle was good, the image got darker as you increased the aperture. This was because you did not compensating adequately for the shutter speed.
